2026 Annual General Meeting
The league AGM will be held on Thursday 12th February at Sinclair, 1.30pm start. The agenda can be found here and the minutes of the 2025 meeting here.
Further to the notes from the league officers meeting held last October (see below), Charlton have expressed an interest in entering a second team in the league.
Proposals for rule changes from the officers are:
First line of Competition Rules which states the following: The singles and doubles competitions although free to enter should incur a £2 fee per player to be paid to the host club.
Change to: Individual competitions (Singles, doubles & over 75's) will have an entry fee of £2 payable to the league. The league will pay each host club £30 for the use of their green for the qualifiers and finals.
Charity Shield rule 17 currently reads: All cup competitions including finals that are played on neutral greens both clubs will be required to pay green fees to the host club nominal amount £2 per player minimum.
Change to: For all cup matches apart from the finals that are played on neutral greens both clubs will be required to pay green fees to the host club nominal amount £2 per player minimum. For the finals, the league will pay a £30 green fee to the host club.
Charity Shield rule 20 currently reads: To be eligible to play in the competition after the first round, players must have played at least three league games in the current season.
Change to: To be eligible to play in the competition after the first round, players must have played at least three league games for that or a lower team in the current season, four games for the semi-final and five games for the final.
No rule change proposals have been received from member clubs.
